Practice Safety First
If you find yourself locked out of your vehicle, make sure you check your surroundings first. If you feel you are in any danger, call 911 immediately. If you can, wait in a nearby business. And, of course, if you have a pet or child locked in the car, don’t hesitate to break a window.
Use Your Uconnect® Access App
Did you know that you can unlock your doors using your smartphone with the Uconnect® Access app? The app lets you lock and unlock your doors, start your engine, and more. It can even contact 911 for you. You just need to make sure your device is paired with your vehicle. Your owner’s manual illustrates the simple process.
Contact Roadside Assistance
Don’t have your phone available? You can also contact Roadside Assistance. Your Chrysler factory warranty includes 24/7 lockout protection. The coverage lasts for up to five years or 60,000 miles. If you are outside the warranty period, you may want to consider adding extended warranty coverage to your vehicle.
Call our Dealership
If you don’t have any of these options, reach out to our dealership. We can send lockout assistance to you or arrange to have your vehicle towed. We can even help with a key replacement if you have misplaced your keys.
