RAM 1500

When it comes to finding the best MPG trucks, our RAM dealership is ready to help you. For many drivers, it’s important to know which truck has the best fuel efficiency before they buy. That’s why Cook Chrysler Dodge RAM assembled this guide, so you’ll know which RAM trucks have the best ratings.

2023 RAM 1500

The 2023 RAM 1500 starts off with an EPA-estimated MPG rating of 18 for city driving and 23 for highway driving. This fuel efficiency output is standard for trucks in this class, with the 5.7-liter V8 engine generating significant power.

Depending on your trim, however, your MPG can increase or decrease. The 2023 RAM 1500 TRX®, for example, trades efficiency for capability, with an EPA-estimated 10 MPG City/14 MPG Highway. Most other trims, however, boost fuel economy to an estimated 20 MPG city /25 MPG highway.

The most efficient trim is the 2023 RAM 1500 with four-wheel drive and a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine, which boosts ratings to an EPA-estimated 21 city/29 highway.

2023 RAM 1500 Classic

This special model features comparable fuel efficiency in both of its trims. With two doors and a 3.6-liter engine, the 2023 RAM 1500 Classic features an EPA-estimated 17 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway. Switching to the 5.7-liter engine changes MPG to an EPA-estimated 15 city/21 highway.
